Earn Money Easy
by Fitzgerald Elliott
Affiliate marketing is one of the most powerful and effective ways to earn money easy online. These programs gives everybody a chance to make a good living, from the comfort of their home, through the Internet.
Since these affiliate marketing programs are easy to join, and pays commission on a regular basis, more and more people are now joining these programs daily.
But like any other business, there are many pitfalls in the affiliate marketing business. Committing some of these common mistakes, will cost you, the marketer, a large portion taken from the profits, you should be making daily.
It is better to avoid these mistakes in the beginning, than to be sorry in the end...
Mistake #1: Choosing the wrong affiliate program.
Many people look to earn money online from affiliate marketing, as fast as they possibly can. In their rush to be part of the marketing scheme, they tend to choose a "hot" product. This is the kind of product, that the program thinks is very "hot".
They choose the product that is in demand without actually considering if the product has any appeal to them. This is not a wise choice.
Instead of jumping on the bandwagon, try to choose a product in which you are truly interested in. For your endeavor to be successful, you should take some time to plan, and figure out your product or service.
Pick a product that appeals to you. Then do some research about that product to see if it is in demand. Promoting a product that you are passionate about, is easier than promoting one for the sake of the earnings only.
Mistake #2: Joining too many affiliate programs.
Since affiliate marketing programs are easy to join, you might be tempted to join many of these affiliate programs, to try to maximize your earnings. Besides you may think that there is nothing wrong and nothing to lose, by being part of many affiliate programs.
It is true that, it's a great way to have multiple sources of income. However, joining multiple programs and attempting to promote them all at the same time, will prevent you from focusing on each one of them.
Do you know the results? The maximum potential of your affiliate programs will not be realized. And the income you generate, will not be as huge as you were thinking initially.
The best way to get excellent results, is by joining just one program that pays you a 40% commission at least. Then give it your best effort, by promoting your product enthusiastically. As soon as you see that it is making a reasonable profit, then maybe you can now join another affiliate program.
The idea here, is to do it slowly, but surely. There is really no need to rush into things... especially with affiliate marketing. The way things are going, the future is looking bright, and it seems that affiliate marketing will be here for a long time...
Mistake #3: Not buying the product or using the service.
As an affiliate marketer, your main purpose is to effectively promote a product or service to your potential customers. For you to achieve this, you must be able to tell the customers, about the benefits of the product or service.
It will be difficult for you to do this, when you yourself have not tried the product or service. So, you will fail to promote and recommend your product or service convincingly. You will also fail to create a desire in your customers for your products or services.
You must try out the product or service personally first, before you sign up as an affiliate, to see if it is really delivering what it promises.
If you have done this, then you are one of the most credible testaments aware of its advantages and disadvantages. Your customers will then feel the sincerity and truthfulness in you and your products or services... and you build your credibility...
Many affiliate marketers makes these mistakes and are paying dearly for their actions today. Try not to fall into the same situation they have been in. Try to do everything possible, to avoid making the same mistakes.
Time is the key. Take time to analyze your product/service and marketing strategy, and check to see if you are on the right track. If done properly, you will be able to maximize your affiliate marketing program and earn higher profits in the future...
You will also need some start-up cash to help you to earn money online. If you can,t invest at least $100.00 in your future, then earning money online is not for you...
It is possible to start your Internet business without one cent cost to you. But if you want to see your business really take off, you need to invest money it.
If you don't have the money to do this, then join an affiliate program that will allow you to raise the money you want to promote you business, without paying it back... you can earn money online easy.

Facebook huge opportunity for affiliates
Savvy affiliates are scrambling to take advantage of the
opportunities provided by social networking website Facebook,
which has 43 million users and is growing extremely fast.
Creative affiliates who have the necessary resources are pouring
a lot of energy into this. They're developing viral Facebook
applications with affiliate offers embedded in them.
"Some affiliates are making a killing doing this. This is HOT
right now," says super affiliate Amit Mehta.
Shareasale President and CEO Brian Littleton says Facebook offers
a "huge opportunity" for a whole new source of traffic for
affiliates.
Brian, as CEO of a popular affiliate network, is in an excellent
position to know what top performing affiliates are doing. On his
blog, he says...
"I get a lot of wide eyes when I say this usually... but I think
that it is entirely feasible that a whole new generation of
online users will not even use the WWW at all, but will perform
all tasks online specifically on Facebook. To them, being
"online" will mean being on Facebook... not being on what we
consider to be the web. This new generation will grow up online
not knowing who the powerhouses on the web are... they will
recognize only the powerhouses on Facebook specifically. What
does this mean for you as an affiliate or developer? That means
that you have an opportunity to build up a powerhouse brand if
you develop a quality application on Facebook."
Facebook, which is a bit like MySpace without so many problems,
is growing explosively, partly because of its Facebook Platform,
launched in May, which enables developers to create applications
that interact with core Facebook features. Already, there are
more than 4,500 applications FaceBook users can choose from.
Do you want some ideas on how affiliates are generating revenue
on Facebook? Scan the applications directory on Facebook (you'll
need to join) and you should be able to find plenty of ideas.
Here are some examples of Facebook applications...
ILike, an Internet music company based in Seattle, introduced a
Facebook application a few months ago. The iLike tool, which lets
users post clips of their favorite songs, has now been added to
the pages of 8.6 million of Facebook's users. That's phenomenal
growth.
ILike makes money on advertising and commissions when users buy
concert tickets or download songs from iTunes, but its goals are
much more ambitious. "We have the potential opportunity to create
the new MTV," Ali Partovi, its 34-year-old chief executive, told
the New York Times.
Other affiliate examples include Amazing Giftbox, created by Gil
Megidish and Amit Gupta, using the Amazon.com ECS Search API.
"Select anything you like from Amazon.com, and we'll make it into
a virtual gift you can send to your friends," they say.
They also created the Amazing Wishlist application, also using
the Amazon associates program.
TripAdvisor offers a "Where I've Been" world map. You stick
virtual pins in it to show your friends where you've been, where
you've lived and where you want to go.
Fafarazzi.com has an application that allows Facebook users to
send each other photos of celebrities, to reflect their mood.
StyleFeeder, a shopping recommendation service, launched an
application in June that has since been installed by 45,000
people.
Texas HoldEm Poker: 2.6 million users.
My Aquarium: 3.3 million users.
Will You Be a Multimillionaire? 171,800 users.
Sports Bets: 163,517 users.
Some applications succeed. Many don't. Facebook users can easily
add new applications to their pages - and easily remove them. The
big challenge for developers is creating applications that users
want to keep using.
